Evonne Goolagong Cawley is an Australian former professional tennis player who was born on July 31, 1951.

 She is regarded as one of the greatest female tennis players of all time. Goolagong Cawley achieved tremendous success throughout her career, winning a total of 14 Grand Slam titles, including seven in singles, six in women's doubles, and one in mixed doubles.

She won her first Grand Slam singles title at the 1971 French Open and went on to win Wimbledon twice, in 1971 and 1980. Goolagong Cawley's playing style was characterized by her grace, agility, and versatility on the court, earning her the nickname "the graceful Goolagong" and the affectionate moniker "Evonne the Swan".
