Lewis Carroll
Lewis Carroll is best remembered for his children's books, including Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There (1871). In these works, he created a fantastical world of mathematical oddities, curious creatures, and absurd situations.
Lewis Carroll was an English author who wrote fiction and created games as a child. He was shy but enjoyed writing stories for children. Carroll's most famous books include Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. He was a gifted mathematician and logician, as well as a talented photographer. In 1856, he was appointed Mathematical Lecturer at Christ Church, Oxford, where he would spend the rest of his career.
