Don Omar

Don Omar, whose real name is William Omar Landrón Rivera, was born on February 10, 1978, in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Growing up in a poor family, he discovered his love for music at a young age and began writing his own songs. After performing at local clubs and talent shows, he caught the attention of Héctor Delgado, a renowned Puerto Rican reggaeton artist.

In 2003, Don Omar released his debut album, "The Last Don," which featured collaborations with other reggaeton artists such as Tego Calderón and Ivy Queen. The album was a commercial success, reaching the top of the Billboard Latin Albums chart and earning him a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Urban Music Album.
