Big Punisher, also known as Big Pun, was a highly influential American rapper born as Christopher Lee Rios on November 10, 1971.
Hailing from the Bronx, New York, he gained widespread recognition with his debut album, "Capital Punishment" released in 1998. Known for his intricate rhyme schemes and rapid-fire delivery, Big Pun was celebrated for his lyrical prowess and storytelling abilities. As the first solo Latino rapper to achieve platinum status, he left a significant impact on the hip-hop genre. Tragically, Big Pun passed away on February 7, 2000, at the age of 28, but his legacy endures as one of the most skilled and influential lyricists in hip-hop history.
